Will & Well: Precision-Engineered Independence

At Never Grey, we believe style should never come at the expense of independence. For many people, something as simple as getting dressed or adding an accessories without help can become unexpectedly difficult. Traditional jewellery fastenings and fiddly clothing closures can turn everyday routines into frustrating, time-consuming tasks and sometimes this means having to rely on someone else.

I know this frustration first-hand. Living with hemiplegia means that standard jewellery, with its tiny lobster clasps and fiddly butterfly backs, can become a two-person job. For years, changing my jewellery meant waiting for someone else to be available. That loss of autonomy can be a quiet but constant frustration. Which is why I am so pleased to showcase Will & Well.

They don't simply create beautiful products. They think about how design can remove barriers and give people back the freedom to do things for themselves.

Why Inclusive Design Matters

Founded by designer Elisa Lim, Will & Well brings thoughtful design to adaptive fashion and accessories. Inclusive design is about much more than convenience. It is about choice, dignity and independence. When you have limited dexterity or use only one hand, traditional jewellery and clothing fastenings can create unnecessary barriers. Inclusive design removes those barriers, making it easier to get ready for work, go out for dinner, meet friends or simply dress in a way that feels like you.

Their fashion range offers items in Tencel and Lyocell fabrics, chosen for their breathable, comfortable qualities. Adjustable fittings around the waist and zips that fully open are suitable for everyday wear. Their two way blouse can never be put on back-to-front and their clever bag can be converted into an arm sling for support and comfort!

Will & Well's clothing incorporates features such as:

  • Full-front zips that make dressing easier from a seated position and can also support caregivers.
  • Magnetic fastenings that replace fiddly buttons.
  • Hang loops to help hold trousers in place while dressing.
  • Adjustable waistbands that allow for changing comfort and fit.

These aren't adaptations added as an afterthought. They're examples of how thoughtful design can make everyday clothing work better for more people from the beginning.

A Jewell in their Crown

Their jewellery collection makes accessorising your outfit easier and necklaces and bracelets feature magnetic clasps that snap into place, reducing the fine motor coordination required and making one-handed application possible. Premium materials including 14kt Goldfill and stainless steel make these pieces durable, lightweight and suitable for everyday wear, with hypoallergenic options designed with comfort in mind.

Collaborative collections

Will and Well's OneTee is a co-creation that combines everyday style with genuinely thoughtful functionality. From magnetic fastenings and side zippers to sensory-friendly seams and tactile details, the OneTee has been designed with different needs in mind, whilst remaining something anyone can wear.

Reclaim Your Routine

Whether it's a necklace you can fasten yourself or clothing designed around the realities of getting dressed, their approach is about putting independence back into everyday routines. And that's what makes Will & Well such a great fit for Never Grey. Because being able to change your mind, change your necklace or get dressed in your own way isn't a luxury.
It's freedom.
